Dne 09.12.2020 smo Rotarijci v prostorih Fajdigove ambulante na Gosposvetski 9 v Kranju predali njihovim prostovoljcem zaščitno opremo pred patogeni (virusi, bakterijami, plesnijo in glivicami).
V Rotary klubu Zgornji Brnik smo se povezali s podjetjem Spes v skupni odločitvi o donaciji Fajdigovi ambulanti. V akcijo so se vključili še ostali klubi iz gorenjske regije: RC Bled, RC Kranj, RC Škofja Loka in RC Tržič. Na ta način smo dali dodatno težo naši podpori tem človekoljubnim aktivnostim na ožjem, regionalnem družbenem območju.
Poslanstvo Fajdigove ambulante je v nudenju brezplačne zdravstvene pomoči osebam, ki nimajo urejenega zdravstvenega zavarovanja. Teh primerov ni tako malo. Osebje opaža, da z obiskom ambulante ljudje zelo odlašajo zaradi občutka sramu ali krivde. Odlašajo na škodo svojega zdravja. Zavedati se moramo, da lahko ostanemo brez zavarovanja kar mimogrede, bodisi zaradi stečajev, menjave služb, zaprtja s.p., kot tujci, ki obtičijo v Sloveniji brez zdravil (letošnji primer lockdowna) in podobno. Nekateri tudi ne vedo za to možnost in jih zato moramo ostali obveščati in napotiti.
Delo v ambulanti temelji na prostovoljnem delu treh zdravnic splošne medicine ter še pet prostovoljcev drugega zdravstvenega profila. In na zbiranju donacij. V obliki odvečnih a še vedno uporabnih zdravil, sanitetnega in pisarniškega materiala ter opreme.
Takih ambulant je v Sloveniji kar nekaj in se vse srečujejo s podobnimi izzivi. V društvu so omenili, da se razmišlja o odprtju še ene take ambulante na Jesenicah, kjer se izkazuje povečanje potreb po takih storitvah.
Kranjska Fajdigova ambulanta je v času epidemije delovala v okrnjenem obsegu, ker ni mogla nuditi zadovoljive varnosti ne prostovoljcem ne obiskovalcem. Dobili so že nekaj druge opreme, z našo pa bodo lahko učinkovito rešili dezinfekcijo zraka brez prezračevanja in posledično neželenega ohlajanja prostorov. Some also do not know about this possibility and therefore we need to inform and refer others.
The work in the outpatient clinic is based on the voluntary work of three general practitioners and five other volunteers of another medical profile. And on fundraising. In the form of redundant but still useful medicines, sanitary and office supplies and equipment.
There are quite a few such dispensaries in Slovenia and they all face similar challenges. The association mentioned that it is considering opening another such clinic in Jesenice, where there is an increase in the need for such services.
At the time of the epidemic, the Fajdiga ambulance in Carniola was operating on a reduced scale because it could not offer satisfactory safety to either volunteers or visitors. They have already received some other equipment, and with ours they will be able to effectively solve the disinfection of the air without ventilation and consequently unwanted cooling of the premises. They will also be able to benefit from these effects in the covid clinic with which they share facilities.
